1. Ride the Gatlinburg SkyLift

When you visit the theme park, your adventure begins right off the bat. In order to reach the park, you have to ride up the mountain on the Gatlinburg SkyLift. It is the first four-season scenic chairlift in the South and has been an iconic landmark in Gatlinburg since 1954. As you ascend 500 feet to the top of Crockett Mountain, you will experience some breathtaking views of Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. After you finish your day of fun, you will ride the lift back down, which also offers amazing views.

2. Walk Across the Gatlinburg SkyBridge

As the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America, the Gatlinburg Skybridge is a must see when you are visiting the Smoky Mountains. The SkyBridge stretches 680 feet across a deep valley. When you walk across the bridge, you will have a panoramic view of the Smokies that you have to see to believe! If you are a little hesitant about the bridge, do not worry. Guests can travel across at their own pace and can walk back at any point. However, if you are feeling adventurous, there is a 30 foot stretch of the bridge that is nothing but glass panels that allows you to look down and see how high up you are. Whether you make it all the way across or not, the SkyBridge is something you can only experience at Gatlinburg SkyPark and you do not want to miss out!

3. Observe on the Gatlinburg SkyDeck

For those who want to take in the amazing views without walking across the bridge, the Gatlinburg SkyDeck is for you! It offers a spectacular viewing deck, an outdoor seating area, a firepit, and the SkyCenter Building. The SkyDeck is the perfect place to sit down and relax to enjoy a snack and be surrounded by the best views in the area. You can also see the SkyBridge from this area to watch people travel across. The SkyDeck is the perfect place to snap some amazing photographs to capture the fun you are having!

4. Visit the Gatlinburg SkyCenter

Located on the SkyDeck, the Gatlinburg SkyCenter has a few different amenities to check out. First of all, this is where you can view and purchase your souvenir photo that was taken of you when you got off the SkyLift. On the first floor of the SkyCenter there is also a cafe and a gift shop to find the perfect souvenir from the park. The second floor of the building has a huge seating area to take a seat and relax or escape the heat during the summer months.
