The Biltmore Estate is an incredibly beautiful place to visit throughout the year, but the holiday season transforms it to a completely different level! America’s largest home gets decorated with dozens of trees, thousands of ornaments, and miles of brightly lit evergreen garland. Christmas at Biltmore is simply unlike anything else you could ever see and is definitely a “bucket list” thing to do! The 2015 Biltmore Estate Christmas schedule can be found below.
2015 Biltmore House Christmas Schedule
The Biltmore House Christmas schedule for 2015 has it open every day beginning November 6 through January 10. The days however are split into two separate types of admission. One for the daytime without the Christmas lights on and the other is for the nighttime with the lights on and fireplaces lit.
9am-4:30pm
The daytime admission begins at 9am and the doors close at 4:30pm. This is a fantastic time to visit as it is less expensive and allows plenty of time to grab dinner nearby. We even show you how to save $10 on each admission below, which puts these tickets a full $25 cheaper than the Christmas Candlelight Evening tickets! You’ll be able to see all of the trees, garland, ornaments, etc but nothing will be lit. If you want to see everything lit up, you’ll need to pay extra for the Biltmore Christmas Candlelight Evenings mentioned below.
5:30pm-last scheduled tour
The Biltmore Christmas Candlelight Evenings take place daily beginning with the doors opening at 5:30pm and last until the final scheduled tour (which changes daily). The Christmas Candlelight Evenings at Biltmore offer a completely different experience as the numerous fireplaces are lit, thousands of lights are turned on, and everything just has a special sparkle and glow about it! It does about $25 more per person to see the Biltmore Christmas at night, but it’s a beautiful sight to see.
